Hachiko: A dog's tale

Synopsis: Hachiko, the legendary Japanese akita, proves that there is nothing more loyal than mans best friend in this modern retelling of a cherished true story. It all begins when a college professor adopts an abandoned dog named Hachiko. The two form such a strong bond that Hachiko walks with the professor to the train station each morning and returns to the station each evening to walk the professor home again. The routine continues until one day the professor does not return to the train station. Hachiko, however, does not give up. He returns to the same train station at the same time, faithfully waiting for his owner to return. Hachiko does this for more than nine years, until his own death. This heartwarming tale that is already the stuff of legend in Japan is finally making its way to America by way of prominent director Lasse Hallström. With an equally capable cast, the experience of Hachikos unending loyalty is certain to stay with you. Hachikos story is one of love, unwavering devotion, and the resounding impact one dogs affection can make.

It is definetly worth watching, I read the story about this Akita before I even heard about the movie. One day at work it caught my eye, only because it had a picture of an Akita, I really wanted to watch it. I googled the trailer when I got home and read some of the comments and a lot of people that have watched it said you should have a box of tissue ready. It was heart warming and it definetly made me cry.

I just hope people don't go out and get Akita Inus just because they look freaking adorable in this movie. To be honest, I'm not an exepert or anything, I think they used Shiba Inu puppies for when Hachi was younger. I am not a 100% sure whether or not if it's true or not simply because its harder to tell if they're a shiba puppy or an akita puppy because its on a screen,

After watching this movie,I have the sudden urge to watch "A tale of Mari and 3 puppies," again. Its been a year since I've watched it, but it's sooo cute! It's a SHIBA this time! I wished my shiba was still a puppy so I can hold him in my lap and stroke him and hug him and cry into his coarse fur.

New songs addiction~

I really lack the urge to blog about anything, plus I don't have pictures on my laptop.. or my camera.
Lack of photos = reading a really long body of text, like your text book about something that your going to be tested on in Finals.

Any ways, I've been downloading quite a bit of songs, I guess this post can be like my part 2 of my Happy Songs blog post. So on with the songs! Happy Songs!

I'm sure we all have a few songs that we listen to when we're sad or just feeling down or you just want a feel good song to dance to! Well I don't have a set list of songs that I always listen to when I'm feeling down or anything like that, but it is nice to have a song you can listen to when you had a rough start to the week.

So here are the list of my songs, in no particular order. I tried to keep most of the songs to English songs. It's kind of hard for me since majority of my music is very Asian. Don't judge the songs by it's title. Some of these might have a "emo" name, but trust me they may or may not make you feel better. It kind of also depends on what kind of music you enjoy listening to.

  1. Owl City -The Saltwater Room
In general you can't go wrong with Owl City songs, they are mellow yet up beat? I don't know if I'm using the right words to describe their songs.
  2.  B.O.B ft Bruno Mars - Nothing on You
  3. Claude Kelly - I hate love
  4. Glee - It's my life/confessions prt 2.
I don't like the story line, however I do love the songs and I do like this mash up.
  5. Notorious MSG -Dim sum girl
  6. Ne-yo - I come first
  7. Ne-yo - Move a long
  8. 3OH!3 Ft Katy Perry - star struck
  9. Jason Derulo - Love Hangover
  10. B.O.B- fool for love
So there's a few of mine, what's yours =)
