Welcome world!

The last two weeks have gone by really fast. I thought it was going to go by really slow since I had nothing planned or any one to go out to the free events with since most of my friends had used the break to catch up on their homework and readings.

For the entire two weeks that I had my days off, I spent most of it on Robson and it's surrounding areas. The crowds were pretty wild and everyone was super friendly. We had people giving away free hugs, any one that had their hands up got a high five to people just standing on street corners chanting "Go Canada go!", singing Oh Canada and of course "FUCK U.S.A!" well, that was yesterday...we gotta cheer on our Canadian team!

I was lucky and I got to go to the award ceremony. Well the guy I'm currently seeing, his friend got 3 extra tickets and wanted some people to go with her. It was a fun to go to, except for the constant sitting and standing for each country's national anthem. We might as well just stood for the whole thing until the performers came. To be honest, I never heard of the The Great Big Sea, so I was bored during their performance. My friend explained to me that they were Newfie folk band, they got the crowd going. Once I had moved down from my assigned seats down to the ground floor, the couple next to me began to do a folk dance. I kind of felt sorry for the boyfriend...he was forced to dance by his girlfriend.

any ways pictures time!

**warning its bit on the heavy side**

although you can't see it very well, thats the crazy mob on Robson.

Formspring!

Okay, along with the hype of tumblr, facebook and twitter... I thought I'd join formspring.me. Yeah i was bored and I was curious. Any ways basically its a site where you can ask me anything and I'll answer them - if i feel like answering it or think if it's interesting enough.

some of the ones I've seen so far were insults. Yeah bit low for some people.... guess it feeds their inner internet troll. Sad.

Winter 2010 - Olympics! + Valentines

Well, February has been a hectic month for me. First two weeks of the month was spent prepping for exams and then spent doing the exams, at the same time dating. I guess there's only one down side about dating a guy older than you is that; since they graduated from school recently or a while ago. They have a full time job so they have more time to spend with you or distract you,  that is if they are not too tired from their day at work.

That has been the biggest problem for me so far. I get so damn distracted by other people, it's not even funny. I really need to pull up my socks and stop being so social with other people. I'm glad that I have friends to remind me not to be so social and actually make time to do some homework. Well now that the Vancouver 2010 olympics are going on, I have 2 weeks off from school. I feel that i should relax in the first week and do all the homework during the last week. While on the other hand, I have the nagging conscience telling me that I should do my homework this week then I can realx during the next. I tried doing some homework, but its really distracting with two dogs to care for. I need to find a way for one dog to stop being so need

Well, Sunday was Valentines and I had a good time with the person I spent Valentines with. We went for dinner and a stroll around downtown and checked out some of the events that was taking place around Robson square. I kept telling myself that I should of brought my camera - but I kept forgetting to. GRR! I wanted to shoot myself in the head for forgettiing it. I mean It's the bloody olympics and Valentines day! There's so much going around the city that it's totally worth it to take some pics of the scenery and the lovers around us. Although we didn't see anything picture worthy - it would of been nice to get some pictures of what it was like to be downtown in Vancouver during the olympics.

I was looking around us, and it seemed like people were more absorbed with the olympics. Only about 5% of the people downtown actually cared that it was Valentines day. I saw a few people carrying a bouquet of roses or a flower or two walking close to their significant others - while the rest of the people downtown were singing "O' Canada," walking around with the Canadian flag and the annoying cow bells *insert Christopher Walken's famous lines - from the SNL skit* or cheering for the athlete, sorry dude your name slipped my mind, that won the gold medal. We are sure proud of our Athlethes. Hell, today at the Yale Town, Live city Pavillion I joined in Cheering on at the award ceremony where Canada won Silver at the Snowboarding Cross event.

I only got pictures of what was inside the Coke thing. The coke thing was kind of entertaining. They were giving out free cokes, at the entrance there was a show case of the torches in the last couple of years (pictured above). I actually like the torch that Beijing had *biased answer because I'm Chinese*, Turin? and the one that was hosted in Japan. Inside there was also a thing where you can take a picture with the torch  *god my face looks fat*, as well as the coke bear *no pun intended* .I was too busy being entertained in the Samsung place. They had random performances promoting their new phone the Omnia 2. I kind of want it now, but I don't know if it's enough for me to give up the Blackberries for it. Any ways, before we left to go get dinner, there was an improv section. I guess the best line out of the whole thing would of been "EAT TURKEY!" sent in by my date and valenties. He got lucky being the first one recieved, he also won a limited edition Samsung -olympic pin. It looked soo cool. I want one now.. boo urns. I shall find a way to get it now.

Ideal wedding - MORE DRESS IDEAS!

Last year, I made a post regarding what my ideal wedding would be like- click here. I admit that blog post wasn't very well thought out. I believe most of my blog posts aren't very well thought out in the first place. It's usually just me rambling - as per usual.

Any ways, distracted by the internet, I was clicking the stumble button to see if I can find anything interesting to waste my time on or at least find a recipe worth trying out. Instead I ended up looking at on a fashion blog, displaying some of the 2010 designs by a designer named Papilio? (I don't know if that's the designer or the brand, but then again MOST brands are named after the designer[s])

So here are some of my favorite ones and something I can see myself wearing walking down the aisle and being united with the guy whom I plan to spend the rest of my life with.

Welcome BaiBai =D

Well, in addition to my other dog, Ollie aka Bat dog. My dad brought home a Maltese cross poodle. It's the cutest little thing ever, but I would never want to be an owner of it ever. I think i spoke too soon, it adopted me to him. I didn't adopt him at all, I was minding my own business and playing with Ollie. Ollie is my first child, and baibai is my second, although baibai is older than Ollie.

We don't know when his birthday is so closest friend and I agreed that his birthday would be on February 14th. So on that day he'll be 3 years old (unofficially). This little thing likes to play fetch, so he would always bring the ball to either my dad, brother, step mom or me to toss it for him. We had this one pink ball that we had for a year, when we got Ollie, that ball is already broken within a few days of Bai Bai living with us. He also loves falling asleep in my lap. That dog will not sleep anywhere else if some one's home except my lap. It makes it incredibly hard to do my homework.

I'm still trying to get a picture of them together, but Baibai seems to be afraid of Ollie. I understand that he's feeling stressed being away from his brother, HeiHei. My dad wanted both the dogs, but he couldn't get it since someone else claimed it. I think it's better this way...I have a feeling I'm going to end up taking care of both the dogs. Like with ollie...any ways picture time!

Bai Bai and his squeeky toy.

baibai, oldest brother and ollie. Yeah he just had to show off whats between his legs.

21

a quick little rant,

remember those gel heel grips i bought couple of blogs down? I put them in the flats that I owned, I only wore them a few times and I guess the adhesive dried up or it became lost it's stickiness.

well, I had a baptism to attend yesterday, and I didn't want to wear a heel just in case I had to transit or it was pissing in rain. I don't wanna step in puddles in open toe heels, and i wanted to be able to run away from my ex if i needed to.

I ended up buying the suede ones that I bought from Zellars, as ugly as they were they did a WAY better job than the gel cushioned ones from Aldo. I think I'll buy those ones instead in the future. They did a way awesome job.
