Well, February has been a hectic month for me. First two weeks of the month was spent prepping for exams and then spent doing the exams, at the same time dating. I guess there's only one down side about dating a guy older than you is that; since they graduated from school recently or a while ago. They have a full time job so they have more time to spend with you or distract you, that is if they are not too tired from their day at work.
That has been the biggest problem for me so far. I get so damn distracted by other people, it's not even funny. I really need to pull up my socks and stop being so social with other people. I'm glad that I have friends to remind me not to be so social and actually make time to do some homework. Well now that the Vancouver 2010 olympics are going on, I have 2 weeks off from school. I feel that i should relax in the first week and do all the homework during the last week. While on the other hand, I have the nagging conscience telling me that I should do my homework
this week then I can realx during the next. I tried doing some homework, but its really distracting with two dogs to care for. I need to find a way for one dog to stop being so need
Well, Sunday was Valentines and I had a good time with the person I spent Valentines with. We went for dinner and a stroll around downtown and checked out some of the events that was taking place around Robson square. I kept telling myself that I should of brought my camera - but I kept forgetting to. GRR! I wanted to shoot myself in the head for forgettiing it. I mean It's the bloody olympics and Valentines day! There's so much going around the city that it's totally worth it to take some pics of the scenery and the lovers around us. Although we didn't see anything picture worthy - it would of been nice to get some pictures of what it was like to be downtown in Vancouver during the olympics.

I was looking around us, and it seemed like people were more absorbed with the olympics. Only about 5% of the people downtown actually cared that it was Valentines day. I saw a few people carrying a bouquet of roses or a flower or two walking close to their significant others - while the rest of the people downtown were singing "O' Canada," walking around with the Canadian flag and the annoying cow bells *insert Christopher Walken's famous lines - from the SNL skit* or cheering for the athlete, sorry dude your name slipped my mind, that won the gold medal. We are sure proud of our Athlethes. Hell, today at the Yale Town, Live city Pavillion I joined in Cheering on at the award ceremony where Canada won Silver at the Snowboarding Cross event.
I only got pictures of what was inside the Coke thing. The coke thing was kind of entertaining. They were giving out free cokes, at the entrance there was a show case of the torches in the last couple of years (pictured above). I actually like the torch that Beijing had
*biased answer because I'm Chinese*, Turin? and the one that was hosted in Japan. Inside there was also a thing where you can take a picture with the torch
*god my face looks fat*, as well as the coke bear *
no pun intended* .I was too busy being entertained in the Samsung place. They had random performances promoting their new phone the Omnia 2. I kind of want it now, but I don't know if it's enough for me to give up the Blackberries for it. Any ways, before we left to go get dinner, there was an improv section. I guess the best line out of the whole thing would of been "EAT TURKEY!" sent in by my date and valenties. He got lucky being the first one recieved, he also won a limited edition Samsung -olympic pin. It looked soo cool. I want one now.. boo urns. I shall find a way to get it now.
